Counter strike?

I installed counter strike last night because of a lan party I am attending today. Reformatted a long time ago and never occured to me to install cs.  Outside of a (you should play gg with me) message I haven't had any invites or chatted with anyone about playing.  To my surprise, I had a few friends join me.  One of which I haven't played games with in probably 2 years.  It was good times. 

I know battlefield is the future, and that the cs server and other servers was shut down because MERELY to clean up for the future, but I don't see battlefield being significant as cs source was.  I won't compare them because they are too different.

Anyway if you see me on steam friends playing cs on some random pub join me.  Its still goodtimes and its even better when you can play with a groupd of people you know.

Only reason I ever played CS:S was because you guys were playing.  The glory days of CS and CS:S were mostly before my time.  I didn't get into online gaming until late compared to most of us I'm assuming.  It's still fun to play, but the only reason I ever played was because of the awesome people I was playing with.  I still suck balls at that game.     Basically CS:S poker for me.  Run out, get AWPed, then bet, and wait with great anticipation.  lol  Good times...

In other words, anytime you're playing, let me know.  I'm totally up for a game now and then.

CS:S is garbage. I prefer to play games with shot registration.

cs:s is just... old and outdated. imo there's just a lot better things to be playing instead.
