Deadtalk use to be on.  When it was on I felt a much better sense of community being able to talk to everyone while I was dead.  Nothing like asking if the person that killed you was flashed or congratulating them on a nice shot over the mic. 

I NEVER hear people talking strategy over the mic while im dead.  It doesn't make sense.  The people that are alive won't be able to hear it. Just because you might decided something while your dead doesn't mean its going to happen.  What if the person that is alive spawns with the bomb the next round.  He has no idea what you were talking about while you were dead.  The same goes with people who recently connected.  Far worst people that hear your strat then get autobalanced.  Great in theory or for a scrim server but it fails for a pub. 

There is plenty of time to talk "strats" at the beginning of the round during the buy time and while your leaving spawn.

we'll look into it...i'm not sure if the mod we're using now supports it.

i was comming to this section to post this same suggestion so i'll just put my 2 cents here then. i agree and think it would be a good idea if when people were dead all talk was turned on.   i think it might bring some more of a social enviroment to the pub considering the nicer people are usually the ones dead for the majority of a round

I totally agree.  It's a pub, so it's not like people will be trying to organize strats while dead... and yeah, like Fat said it's great for people like me who are dead all round

I like being able to discuss the next round's strats sometimes, if you're lucky enough to have an organized team. But, it's also nice if you want to talk to the guy who just capped you in the face...

I'm kind of either way on this one.
