New Additions To the Website

Hey all. This poll will run for 12 days. After which we can decide what steps to take next. If you have any suggestions or more ideas for the website please let me know in this post, and give examples if you can, thanks.

the member detail page would that be on the lines of what we had before or adding more details for each member where they are able to edit it.

I voted for media album, member details, and DSS.

I?m curious though; would we use something like HLSW for the stats similar to the monitors on the home page?

The media album might help draw people to our site that normally might have just popped in to have a look around after playing in our servers once or twice.  How hard would it be to build some kind of interface that would allow us to upload files that could be played/viewed when clicked though?

Members details should not be in the poll, that should be part of the website no questions asked.

Detailed server stats, isn't that what we have hlstatsx for?

I like the shoutbox idea,  8), have to be a member of our forums to post in it( so flamers and griefers can be dealt with).

Media section, I think there should be a general section where members upload then we decide via a vote what gets added to website, like video of the month or pic of the week or both

Ok, poll is pretty much over. Members detail page it is. Look for it to show up around Tuesday night with the Media Album coming up second.

So you know I hate shout boxes but I do like the idea of having to be a registered member to write in it. I will see what I can create. This feature, If I make it, will be moderated of course but will not be completely filtered.

I just started my new job and AS3 is high on the list of things I need to brush up on so look out, the Lethal desktop app should be released by this time next month.

This isn't for the website, per se, but if we don't have an ignore function, can we add one?

I dont think I understand the question. Ignore Button? what do you mean and what would it be associated with?

A forum ignore button. Makes it so she can ignore Resistance's posts, I'm assuming.

He's gotten on my last nerve. This is the one place I have to hear from him, and I

A delete button might work better.   ;D

After some thought, I'm advocating the idea of a forum ignore list.

The ignore feature is standard in the new SMF 2 Beta forum. I will look into it this weekend.
