Over the past couple of weeks Lethal members have band together and have slowly been revitalizing our once lethargic CS:S server (located at 8.9.3.107:27015) confirming that the server can be populated. Lethal strives to offer a fun, clean, and challenging gaming environment for all ages and skill-sets and there is no doubt that you will be hard-pressed to find a better structured gaming environment. So please be sure to add our server to your FAVS and make it your home!

Counter Strike will always hold a special place in Lethal’s heart, thanks for your support gang!

We have just updated our game servers and will be making more of a presence known at www.teamlethal.net.

Why the change you ask? Well, in thinking of how the community has grown into new games and areas we felt it was fitting to consider ourselves a network. The transition over all is going to be a slow process and most likely wont be noticed by many.

The first thing you will notice is that we have set up names for our game and vent servers. They are as follows.

tf2.teamlethal.net
css.teamlethal.net
vent.teamlethal.net

You can add these into HLSW or use “connect tf2.teamlethal.net” in console to connect to our servers. No more remembering IP addresses, just a name! Remember you will still need to add 14880 as the port to connect to our vent server. Keep an eye out, more things are on their way.

Just wanted to say thanks for making these past few months great for the Team Lethal Team Fortress 2 server. We are ranked 619 out of 4572 on the national scale according to serverspy.net. Thanks to all the 20,826 players that are currently being tracked on the server, with 46 new players in the last 24hrs. Congrats.

So with that said make sure to stop by, and catch Rattlehead snacking on some grub… then shoot him of course cause that’s being lazy and he should know better.

I figured I would put this out there since in would help me finish it up this weekend by presenting to you all. I will releasing the beta version of the Team Lethal desktop application. You will be able to view the servers, check for latest news and posts to the forums as well as see who all is in vent.

Some news before the summer ends and fall begins:

Our TF2 server has maintained it’s popularity - hopefully that will continue as everyone goes back to school.  If you haven’t heard, TF2 has just been updated with new maps and Heavy achievements!  Check out all the buzz and come eat a sandvich!

We’re still trying to increase activity on our CSS server - help us get it going!  You won’t find a better maintained server than ours.

Since our last update, we’ve had some promotions and new recruits.  Congratulations are in order for Rattlehead and Shewolf as they have been promoted to full members!  Our current recruits are Canned Fart, JediDwag and Moony.

Summer is here and we have a few updates for you from our community.

Our website continues to be worked on and updated thanks to Jack Haywod (www.losergeekdesign.com).  If you have any suggestions or complaints, let us know in the ‘Suggestions, Ideas, & Feedback’ section of the forums.

Our TF2 server is as popular as ever - click the TF2 server monitor link on the right for the server info!  We are looking to pick up the action on our CS:S server.  Any ideas and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Our Ventrilo server has been opened to the public.  Our IP is 69.12.97.68 (or mega.typefrag.com) on port 14880.  Stop in for some friendly trashtalk or if you just want to listen to how silly we sound.  If you need help setting up ventrilo, just ask!

We have several new recruits: Canned Fart, cords4me, JediDwag, kajira, Rattlehead, and Shewolf.  If you are interested in joining our gaming community, take a look at the ‘Join Lethal’ section in the forums.

Our CS:S team is off to a rough start in TWL Season 9.  We are 0-3 and look to turn things around this week on one of our favorite maps, inferno.  Things are looking much better on the TWL ladders, where we are 7-0 (rung eight) on the NA 5v5 Ladder and 2-2 (rung eleven) on the NA - 5v5 Push Ladder.  We have upcoming matches on contra and losttemple_pro.

The Team Lethal CS:S team scored a victory in their first TWL Ladder match after almost a year hiatus. This summer we are going to be pretty active in the competitive CS:S circuit as we have also signed up for the next TWL league season and plan to join at least one other league later on. If you are interested in joining the CS:S team, post in the forums. We are also planning on getting a TF2 team going. So let us know as well if you’re interested in that!
